See Optimism in every Pessimistic Thought!

Pessimism has always had a negative connotation attached to it – a stereotypical perception mapped to scrutiny, bad luck, evil- anything with a negative undertone. It has been breathed in & out perennially by generations after generations; with little knowledge of its upright possibilities. With my long-standing years of experience, I happen to have a rather positive approach towards a flurry of negative emotion and have rather grown to embrace it with all its blemishes. ‘A Moment of Epiphany’- that’s all it takes to leap through the turbulent water and look at the horizon across the calm shores.

IT’S ALRIGHT TO TURN BLUE WHEN YOU HAVE NO CLUE

It is a basic human instinct to go through a multitude of emotions when facing tough times- moments of awkwardness, twirling mixed feelings, gushing of anxiety & panic attacks. Some may even feel instances of deep processing, overboard thinking, and choking with stuffed emotions making them obsolete to the fact that these are mere ephemeral sentiments. Personally even I couldn’t escape from such a whirlwind of emotions throughout my life journey, which makes me all the more empathetic. We all sail on the same ship.

As the storm passes by, we must gear up with a new zeal to realign our thoughts, recourse our energies and be in sync with the new learning curve. In the end, the real essence lies in learning life lessons from our experiences- both the good and the less favorable ones. It enables us to rebuild our life philosophies, embrace life with an open mind, and be ready to flip on a new chapter brimming with new wisdom.

When going gets tough, I usually get assertive, scratch a little deeper, and peel the layers of emotions only to enhance the quotient of my self-awareness. Learning is cued in every crisis, enabling one to touch its untapped potential of resiliency. Keep marching forward with all strokes of life in an optimistic spirit. This journey of learning, unlearning, and relearning will keep bouncing new versions of ourselves.

I believe that unpleasant feelings are a critical component of our emotional soil. It enriches our vision, risk appetite, imbibes critical thinking, increases self-awareness, and helps regulate the multidimensional emotion flows, redirects our actions in a meaningful way. This cultivates an experienced life ecosystem.

According to me, these probing moments are the building blocks to attaining emotional resilience. It is indeed good to pause a little, while we ruminate on negative emotions to shun them out of our heads. But don’t allow waves of negativity to shatter your power of resilience.

STAND IN PAUSE, STAND IN PEACE, LET IT JUST FLOW OVER…
